02Purpose and use of the website
The website introduces procurement, supplier, contract, budgeting and process support for business clients. These terms concern the website, its freely available examples and initial enquiries.
You may browse the website and use its examples lawfully. Do not introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorised access, impersonate another person or interfere with the website or other visitors.
03Enquiries, quotes and paid work
The enquiry form prepares a draft in your email application. It does not send your message, make a booking or take a payment. Sending an enquiry or downloading an example does not, by itself, appoint O’Keefe & Co or create a paid engagement.
Published service descriptions and fee ranges are indicative. Before an engagement starts, a separate written proposal or agreement will set out the contracting party, scope, deliverables, assumptions, timetable, fees, any applicable taxes and expenses, payment arrangements and acceptance process.
That agreement should also address changes, cancellation or termination, confidentiality, data handling, intellectual property and responsibilities. These website terms do not supply those project-specific terms or change an existing engagement agreement.
04The nature of the support
The services described concern commercial and operational work. Commercial reviews can identify scope gaps, costs, obligations and questions for the appropriate specialist.
Legal opinions and specialist legal drafting, scientific suitability and specialist quality or regulatory sign-off remain with the appropriately qualified advisers or authorised decision-makers. An engagement’s precise scope and responsibilities will be agreed in writing.
05Example tools and information
The supplier comparison, renewal tracker and budget model are illustrative demonstrations using fictional information. Their calculations depend on the assumptions shown and are not tailored recommendations about an actual supplier, contract, scientific programme or purchase.
For example, the renewal tracker calculates notice dates by subtracting calendar days from a renewal date. Actual agreements may use different triggers, notice methods and timing rules. Verify the relevant agreement before acting.
I take reasonable care in preparing the website and examples. Information can become out of date and errors can occur; please report anything that appears incorrect. Obtain advice appropriate to your situation before making material commercial, legal, scientific or regulatory decisions.
